You will find original, up to 5" thick, hardwood flooring, heavy timbered beams, soaring ceiling heights, masonry-cased exterior windows, interior windows in bedrooms and baths on raised platforms, and exposed brick walls throughout.


New roofing, individual heat pumps for climate control, and inviting floor plans, created by Craddock-Cunningham Architectural Partners of Lynchburg, Virginia, provide condominium designs that have already enticed newcomers and locals. Handicapped accessibility, two fire-rated stairwells, and a new sprinkler system create very desirable domiciles. All interior walls are insulated for better energy efficiency and minimal sound transmission. Solid-core wood doors are used throughout the units.

On-site parking will include reserved handicapped spaces near the entrance ramp, a few covered parked spaces, and a convenient adjacent lot with 25 parking spaces one block from the Courts Complex, City Hall, and new School Board offices. The architect and developer are creating an inviting south-facing entrance, with raised planters, a patio, and covered porch/entrance with easy accessibility by either stairs or gently sloping ramp.
